Office Building Lot Expansion Project Progresses

Landscaping projects can happen at any time of the year but often are associated with the warmer months. With the recent mild weather we have been having, it is good to start thinking about getting these types of projects started. If you want to create more useable space in your paring area or yard, a retaining wall may be an important piece of the project.

In Media, Pa. a project is underway which involves enlarging a parking lot. In this project, excavation and construction of a retaining wall are the key components to achieving the lot expansion and insuring successful storm management.

This project incorporates a modular block retaining wall to extend the storm water retention basin. The basin was relocated on the property extending both storm water inlet and storm water exit pipe.

Winter Landscaping

Do landscaping projects occur throughout the year? -Even in the colder winter months? Yes. Absolutely!

One recent winter project where our crews have been working is taking place at Saint Joseph’s University . The project entitled the John ’60 and Mary Hennings Post Learning Commons is now underway.

We are happy to be part of such an exciting project set to enrich the lives and learning of the students at SJU. Stop back for more updates!

January 2012 Snow

January Snow Storm

Our first significant snow storm arrived in the early hours of January 21st. Our crews were ready to clear lots, walks and pathways. Given that January is coming to a close, this was the one and only January snow storm! We may yet have some snowy days ahead of us. Until then, stay safe!
